Ennie Hickman – Now What? Graduated Senior Workshop

This afternoon, Ennie had the opportunity to speak to high school seniors about their faith lives after high school. He started off by talking about how it is easy for us to become dependent on youth group (and conferences like this) to keep our faith alive.

He stressed that college is the time for us to make our faith our own and really take ownership of it. Ennie stressed the importance of taking our faith with us everywhere we go. We don’t necessarily need to go around preaching all over our college campuses or workplaces, but the best thing we can do is love.

It is so important to spread God’s love by loving those that are difficult to love and those that we might disagree with. “Even if we disagree,” he said, “we should still love. That’s how we change the world.” Focusing on love is essential, even when it’s difficult.

The breakout ended with a Q&A session where teens were able to ask questions and for advice about life after college, which is included in the audio above.
