These men are good friends who have been coming to Steubenville for over 15 years! They’ve come as chaperones, but we think they are most famous in their current roles as ushers down on the floor. Enjoy reading more about these humans!
This is Pete. We aren’t positive, but we think this is his 40th Steubenville conference. He’s here this weekend as an audio tech, which is his usual role, but he has been group leader, band member, and even a teen in past years. Here’s what he had to say when we talked to him after sound check.
These humans are attending their 15th Steubenville conference, but this year is different from all the others. Since 2008, they’ve been coming each summer as the Youth Minister and her an amazing husband. Now, Sandy has taken a new role at their parish, so they joined our volunteer team on speaker hospitality! When they aren’t on a Steubenville conference, they love spending time as a family, going for walks, traveling, and going out for dinner.

Jen Ryan is a Steubenville veteran who is joining our team this year as a counselor, and she will be available to those looking for someone to talk to. This is her first year in that role, but she has been a prayer minister and brought teens as their Youth Minister in the past. Her first conference was back in 2008. Jen currently serves as Pastoral Associate at Church of the Magdalen in St. Louis City. She loves reading, writing, and drinking coffee, and she was kind enough to answer some of our questions!
