Humans of SteubySTL: Clare Ernst

Clare is a longtime Youth Minister at Mary Mother of the Church in St. Louis. She has attended a Steubenville conference every year since 1999! She took some time to answer some of our questions, so take a look at what she shared!

How do you spend your time outside of Steuby? Doing youth ministry, working at Tech Electronics, and spending time with family and friends.

What is your favorite part of the weekend? Watching how our Mary Mother teens react during the weekend.

Do you have any advice for the youth to keep the spirit of Steuby year round? Choose someone who you were impacted by during the weekend and continue to follow their ministry. Focus on the Eucharist, and lean on Jesus to be present to you.

Do you have a funny or favorite story of Steuby years past? Finding one of our youth group boys in the upper luggage compartment when he was small enough to fit in it! Also, our former pastor, Fr. Telhorst, doing the Whip/Nae Nae!

Are there any fun facts about yourself that you would like to share with our readers? I love to fish, and I used to do sprinkler imitations.
