Humans of Steubystl: David H.

One fascinating feature of every SteubySTL conference is the presence of seminarians from the Archdiocese of St. Louis. We are excited to introduce you to one of them: David H.

David H. is a lifelong Catholic who grew up in a family of 7 children; he has 4 sisters and 2 brothers! He entered seminary immediately after attending high school at St. Pius in Festus, MO.

This is his 9th Steubenville youth conference. You can find him at this year’s conferences serving the liturgy and at the vocation office table. It would be great if you could stop by and visit him!

His favorite memory of SteubySTL was when, in the summer of 2013, he heard his call to enter the seminary. It was during the last song before Benediction on Saturday night. During the song “Nothing I Hold On To/Climb” he heard the Lord speak to His heart “Be not afraid.”

He wants to encourage everyone to hope in the Lord and trust in Him always because with Him you can change the world!
