Humans of Steubystl: Jimmy

Meet Jimmy Harris

As you’ve probably heard, everybody loves Raymond. But perhaps you hadn’t heard – until now – that everybody who’s worked with Jimmy during a Steubenville Mid-America Youth Conference loves him, too! He’s just a really good dude, and is willing to help out in any way that he’s needed.

Jimmy has been volunteering at our conferences since 2007, so this weekend is his 16th conference! He has always served as a member of the production staff, and throughout the years has helped with pretty much every aspect of production, including (but not limited to) operating a spotlight, shooting video, taking pictures, and engineering sound so that you can hear our speakers clearly proclaiming the Good News.

When Jimmy is not at Steubystl, he works at Schnucks (a St. Louis-area grocery store) in the meat department. He loves hanging out with his older sister, his mom, and his dad. He lives in Ballwin, MO and is a member of Holy Infant Parish.

Jimmy’s hobbies include playing regular golf, disc golf, fishing, and playing video games.

He volunteers at our conferences because he, quite simply, feels called to give back to the Lord in gratitude for all that he has been given.

According to Jimmy – “To get the most out of these conferences, open up your heart and do not hold back.”
