Week 1: Speaking Team

We have a host, a worship leader, a priest, and three speakers who have traveled to share the faith with us this weekend! Keep reading to find out a little bit about each one. We look forward to hearing from them throughout the conference.

Bob Rice – Host

Bob is a Catholic speaker who loves his life. A husband to his wife, Jennie, and father of their seven children, Bob is also a permanent deacon for the Diocese of Steubenville, Ohio. He is a Professor of Catechetics at Franciscan University of Steubenville, and an accomplished podcaster, musician, and author.

Josh Blakesley – Worship Leader

Josh believes God has called him to use music as an avenue of worship and action. He has used his 20 year career to lead people in that mission. He is a singer, songwriter, and producer. Josh serves as the Worship Coordinator at St. Anthony of Padua in The Woodlands, Texas.

Fr. Joe Freedy – Team Priest

Fr. Freedy was ordained a priest in 2008, and he is currently the pastor for three parishes in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Before seminary, Fr. Freedy went to the University of Buffalo on a football scholarship, and he was the starting quarterback for three years. He is also the president of Dry Bones Ministry.

Brian Greenfield

Brian Greenfield is from Washington, DC, and now lives in Florida with his wife and three children. Brian is a Catholic speaker, who first became on fire for the Faith while in school at Seton Hall University. He spent a year with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, and he has also worked as a campus minister and a representative for Hard as Nails evangelization ministry.

Michael Gormley

Michael “Gomer” Gormley struggled with faith and belief for a long time. He finally connected with the faith through studying the reality of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. He has degrees in Philosophy and Theology, and he works in adult ministry. Michael also runs three side projects: Catching Foxes Show, Every Knee Shall Bow, and LayEvangelist.com

Lisa Cotter

Lisa is a Catholic speaker who focuses on the Faith through the lens of femininity, relationships, and living life with excellence. She is a successful author, podcaster, and presenter. She lives in Denver with her husband and four children.
