Music Is Praying Twice

St. Augustine of Hippo is credited with saying “he who sings prays twice,” once with our music and once with our words. This means that when we sing we are glorifying God, not only with the words, but with the music itself. Have you ever felt that way? Like the notes themselves were guiding your prayer?
