At the end of our closing Mass, Fr. Chris Martin, Vocations Director for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, invited up three important groups of people who were seeking prayers to answer a call God placed on their hearts this weekend to dive further into His limitless love.

Jesus’s Heart Is Moved With Pity For Us

Archbishop Carlson (along with 41 priests) presided at our closing Mass, and it was a powerful celebration of the abundant life that the Lord wants for all of us.

In today’s Gospel, when Jesus “…saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, for they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.” We certainly are a vast crowd. His heart was moved with pity for us – especially in the sacrament of Reconciliation. And the Lord definitely taught us many things this weekend.

David Calavitta, Jesus, and Our Fascination With Superheroes!

This morning we had the privilege of hearing from David Calavitta. He started off his talk by discussing how many of us have a fascination with superheroes because they do things that are out of the ordinary – and we all have that desire. This is directly related to our desire for greatness and we cannot escape this desire.
