Logan from LEAD: The Sacrament of Reconciliation

Logan from Franciscan LEAD is a member of Holy Rosary Parish in Monroe City, which is a church in the Diocese of Jefferson City, MO. He is going to be a junior at Monroe City High School this fall.

Tonight he shared with us how much he appreciates the power of the Sacrament of Reconciliation in his life.

Here are just some of the awesome things Logan shared tonight:

I heard this calling, it was a voice saying “Go to Confession. Go to Confession.”

During the absolution, I felt this wave – and it hit me like a ton of bricks – it was a wave of love, and mercy, and compassion, and grace, and forgiveness.

I love knowing that God can forgive me for whatever I’ve done.

I encourage every one of you to push your fears aside and go and receive God’s forgiveness.
